Artspace Buffalo Alliance
Artspace Buffalo is part of a national network of artist loft developments. In 2008, I co-founded the Artspace Buffalo Gallery and its governing board, the Artspace Buffalo Alliance, to create a dedicated exhibition space within the building. I served as Board Secretary and chaired the Exhibition Committee.
As Secretary, I maintained governance records, prepared meeting documentation, and supported board operations during the organization's startup phase. As curator, I organized the gallery's inaugural exhibition, Unpacking Artspace, which drew over 600 visitors on opening night. I went on to curate three additional exhibitions, including Ecologies of Decay: Dennis Maher, Julian Montague and J-M Reed (with catalogue), which matched that attendance, and Rumors and Folktales: Collages by Brian A. Kavanaugh (with essay).
