Baroness for Versace
Served as Writer, Editor, and Artist Advisory for artist Sarah Baker's 2019 project in collaboration with Versace and London-based Baroness Magazine.
About the Project
Inspired by vintage romance novels, Versace’s 2019 Holiday Saga campaign—Baroness—is a book, video saga, original song, and editorial campaign in collaboration with London-based multimedia artist, Sarah Baker. Set over six chapters, the narrative follows protagonists Angelina and the Baroness - played by Sarah Baker and Helena Christensen - as they navigate tumultuous affairs and overcome adversities.
As a writer and editor on this project I contributed to the narrative and creative work on the 152-page hardcover book and corresponding social media. As artist advisor, I counseled the artist on contracts, appearances, and budget.
Baroness includes:
a scintillating limited edition 152-page hardcover storybook with special guest editor, DONATELLA VERSACE.
the 2019 Versace holiday fashion campaign (follow #VersaceHolidaySaga on Instagram),
a six-episode holiday video saga featuring the incredible Helena Christensen as "the Baroness"
an original song recorded by Baker, “Spritz Me with Your Love” (available on iTunes).
