The Wall: Reshaping Contemporary Chinese Art was a major exhibition and accompanying publication curated by Gao Minglu, Ph.D., and co-presented by the Buffalo AKG Art Museum (formerly Albright-Knox Art Gallery) and the University at Buffalo Galleries in 2005. The exhibition received coverage in The New York Times.
I was hired as a research assistant and writer while completing my graduate coursework at UB. I researched and wrote artist biographies for the publication, created thematic visual presentations on contemporary Chinese art for the curatorial team, and secured reproduction rights for the artworks included in the catalog.
